A wee Reminder

Hi Folks

The cabins have bunks however there are enough cabins that everyone can have a lower bunk - we will only be putting 2-3 per cabin. If you want more people in your cabin you may have to sleep on a top bunk. Some of the cabins have toilets and no carpet, and the other cabins have no toilets but more modern bunks and carpet. However the toilet block is not far from all the cabins. The shower/toilet block seems quite nice.

Well finally I am organised.

Naomi and I went out last Wednesday and had a really good look. Its a very tranquil wee spot only about 6 or 7 mins out of Mosgiel and a little over 15 mins from Dunedin.
This is the main hall, kitchen and dining room.
There should be fifteen tables according to the lady whom runs the camp. Easily enough room if anyone wants to bring cricuts or lap tops etc.
Couldn't see too many plugs but we will bring some multi plugs and extension leads. And there were a few more plugs in the kitchen area.

Details

The cost will be $80-$100 approximately. It will be no more than a 100 and hopefully about 90.
This will cover Friday/Saturday night accommodation
Meals Breakfast for Saturday/Sunday
Lunch Saturday/Sunday
Tea Saturday
Tea and Coffee
There will be a goodie bag and a door prize. We have 3 sponsors and are still looking for more.

You will need to bring bedding and baking (for morning teas etc).
We will confirm menu in two or three weeks.
Camp will run from about 5.30pm on the 3rd and we have to be away by 4pm on the 5th.

We know the silly season is almost upon us so there probably wont be that many updates this side of Christmas but once its been we will updating regularly. If you have any questions feel free to email or pm me.

Deposits

Hi Folks,
Just a quick reminder. We have had quite a few deposits in and one person has paid the full amount in advance.
We are limiting numbers to 20 at this stage but will revisit this next year when we know what our commitments are with kids and work. So it is first in so to speak. We have a waiting list of people whom want to check what they are doing next year but once we have 20 deposits that will be it.

We are off on Wednesday to pay the deposit at the campsite.
